OCEAN DISCOVERY DAYS 2009 IS OVER!
The peninsula-wide community festival ran from June 4 to July 4 this summer and encompassed a host of activities including World Oceans Day events, the opening of the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre, and the very popular Sidney Days. There were beach walks, contests, children’s programs, and science talks at the Institute of Ocean Sciences plus lots of other family fun. It was a blast!! We’re looking forward to Ocean Discovery Days 2010. Check back here for information in the spring.
